IT-TRANS – The Exhibition

The IT-Trans congress and exhibition will be held from March 3 to 5, 2026 as an in-person event at Messe Karlsruhe.

Since its launch in 2008, the IT-TRANS trade fair has provided a platform where decision-makers and experts come together to drive forward the digitalization of public transport and to present and experience the latest innovations in public transport.

The special thing about IT-TRANS : It's the only event fully dedicated to IT in public transport!

Innovation Guided Tours

Join a guided walking tour through the IT-TRANS exhibition halls and meet the companies behind the many innovative products and services being showcased. There are five tours to choose from and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Places are limited, so we recommend arriving at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the start time.

  • Monitoring passengers flows and line occupancy
  • Hardware and Software solutions for payment and ticketing
  • Advancing public transport operations with AI
  • Data-driven solutions for fleet and operational management
  • The current standing of multimodal mobility platforms

Meeting point

Each tour will begin at the Infopoint in the action hall. Look out for the signs “Innovation Guided Tours”


For your comfort, you will be provided with a headset to listen to the tour.

Who can join a tour?

If you have a valid ticket for IT-TRANS you can join, no need to register, just turn up. There are limited places for each tour, please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time.

Reservations are not possible. Some tours can be very popular, so we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the start time.
